How Does Removing Uninstall Registry Entries Make My PC Run Faster?

Registry cleaner software speeds up the system by removing unwanted files and shortcuts.
While this is a known fact to most computer users, you might have wondered "how exactly do these registry cleaners make my PC run faster?" One major function of all registry cleaners is to remove entries in the system registry for uninstalled applications and programs, thus making the application paths free of clutter and quicker to start.
What are "uninstall entries" in the system registry? Whenever some executable program or desktop application is installed, repaired or modified by adding preferences, rules or installation settings, your computer's operating system (Windows) stores the changes as registry file entries, so that the modifications can be implemented and realized the next time you access the application or program.
These are the normal registry entries.
Very often, an application or program is uninstalled, either due to less or no utility, or because a newer version or a substitute of the application has been installed.
This leaves behind the corresponding empty registry file entries, called "uninstall entries" useless.
These orphaned registry entries often hamper the quick execution of the newer version of the application, or even some totally unrelated applications.
I use registry cleaner software regularly to make my PC run faster in such cases, by removing the unwanted clutter.
Unless you do so too, your computer may frequently hang up or freeze, or even crash! In case the "uninstall entries" are for a program whose newer version has been installed, when the system tries to access data related to the updated or upgraded software, these garbage entries leading to a non-existent path slow down or even prevent the program execution, leading to "execution error" or "application not found" messages.
Since the registry files are totally vacant, the error messages are fully justified.
The only solution is to removed the "uninstall entries".
When to conclude that I can make my PC run faster by removing "uninstall entries"? Your PC might be running slow due to many reasons.
One of them is using many applications or programs simultaneously, using up almost all the processor or RAM capacity of the computer.
Another might be using a program which takes up a lot of RAM, such as video editing software, games or other high resource using applications.
Still another cause may be network hacking by miscreants through your intranet or internet connection or a virus having infected one of your programs or system files.
I always go through this checklist when I want to know how to make my PC run faster.
When you've checked and eliminated all of these possible causes, you can conclude that your registry entries need to be cleaned.
Using registry cleaner software for this purpose is a lot easier and safer than manually deleting entries for uninstalled programs.
