- CDs and DVDs make excellent gifts, so pick up a CD by your girlfriend's favorite band or buy a DVD that you can both watch together. If you're feeling creative, put together a mix CD for that personal touch.
- Flowers and chocolates are a classic gift and you can spend as much or as little as you like. Many chocolate stores will offer gift wrapping and personalization so you can make that gift extra special by having "I love you" or her name added to the chocolate with icing.
- Picking clothes for her is never a good idea unless you are very confident about what she likes--too much can go wrong like picking the wrong style, size or color, and teenage girls tend to be very, very picky about their clothes. She might really appreciate being taken out to pick something for herself, though. Clothes can be expensive, however, so this might be a budget stretcher.
- Surprise her with a framed picture of the two of you together. If you're feeling crafty, try making the frame yourself.
- A stuffed toy is always a favorite and there are so many options. It's a great opportunity to give a fun gift.
- Pay to have her hair or nails done. Most girls love to be pampered and it will make her feel really special.
