Blogging have become so popular that a second internet wave has started with blog communities - programs like Technorati and MyBlogLog promote not just blogs but the communities of blogging, functioning a bit like MySpace with a purpose.
Blogger is a free system operated by Google and represents one of the greatest free things Google has ever done.
Blogger was started by a tiny company in San Francisco called Pyra Labs in August of 1999 and Google brought it out.
Thankfully Google didn't change the basic formula of success, but have added an opportunity for people to earn income off their blogs by adding Google AdSense.
Quite a handy little option.
