Chakras - A Simple Explanation Chakra is a Sanskrit word that means "wheel" or "turning" They are said to be like swirling centers that send and receive energy.
They resemble a flower with petals or perhaps a spoked wheel.

This Chakra involves sexuality and reproduction.
