- 1). Acquire the Lightsaber Energy Cell Fixture on Telos. If you're on the light side, you'll get this while performing quests for the Ithorians. If you're on the dark side, it comes from Duros. It's mandatory to do one or the other quest, so don't worry about missing the Lightsaber Energy Cell Fixture.
- 2). Go to Dantoonie to gather the remaining two components. Although Nar Shaddaa and Onderon also have the necessary components, it'll take longer to find them.
- 3). Take the Lightsaber Emitter Fixture by fighting Visas. She'll appear in the Ebon Hawk (your space cruiser) at random, though you'll be warned beforehand with a cut scene. After you beat her, she'll give you the Lightsaber Emitter Fixture, your second lightsaber component.
- 4). Get the Lightsaber Focusing Lens in the Enclave. In the sublevel, you'll find a man named Jorran locked inside a room. If you're on the light side, kill the surrounding monsters and let him know. When he comes out, he offers to sell you the lightsaber component for 1,000 credits. If you're evil, don't kill the surrounding monsters and then tell him that they're dead, anyway. When he comes out, they'll eat him. You can then take the component off his dead body.
- 5). Speak with your companion Bao-Dur to construct the lightsaber. If he isn't in your party, return to your ship to speak with him.
