Regent Seven Seas Cruises Lifestyle:
Regent Seven Seas Cruises (RSSC) is best known for its exceptional service and exciting itineraries. RSSC markets its luxury cruises to upscale, well-traveled passengers who expect a high level of amenities and service, but do not expect non-stop activities onboard.
The three unique ships are extremely quiet and spacious, with some of the highest space-to-passenger ratios of any cruise line.
The RSSC ships are almost all-inclusive and no tipping is required.
Regent Seven Seas Cruises Cruise Ships:
RSSC has three mid-sized ships--the Seven Seas Navigator (490 passengers), Seven Seas Mariner (700 passengers), and the Seven Seas Voyager (708 passengers). The Voyager is RSSC's newest ship and combines many of the best features of the Mariner and the Navigator. The Navigator has an ice-strengthened hull, enabling the ship to sail almost anywhere in the world. The Voyager and Mariner were both significantly refurbished in late 2008.
Regent Seven Seas Cruises Passenger Profile:
RSSC passengers are usually middle aged (or older), affluent, active, well-educated, and frequent travelers. Independent people who prefer destination-oriented cruises on a luxury ship with a quiet atmosphere and no tipping expected will enjoy RSSC. Many passengers are repeat RSSC customers.
Regent Seven Seas Cruises Accommodations and Cabins :
The RSSC ships have spacious cabins, many of which have balconies. The cabins are what you would expect on a luxury cruise ship.
Even the smallest cabins are very large when compared with similar accommodations on most mega-ships. All cabins have walk-in closets and marble baths.
Regent Seven Seas Cruises Cuisine and Dining :
The Voyager and Mariner have four dining venues, all with open seating. Reservations (at no charge) are required for two of the small specialty restaurants. All of the restaurants have very good, diverse cuisine. The Navigator has three dining venues--the main restaurant, a small alternative Italian restaurant, and a casual buffet. All the ships have 24-hour room service, and passengers can dine in their suites from the full dining room menu. Most cocktails and wine are included in the cruise fare.
Regent Seven Seas Cruises Onboard Activities and Entertainment :
The Regent Seven Seas ships have good show lounges, with both varied cabaret entertainment and production shows. Individual musicians (such as pianists or harpists) provide quiet entertainment in the bars.
Although there are many onboard activities, passengers used to the high energy of the mega-liners may find the RSSC ships' ambience to be too quiet. The ships all have casinos, libraries, and Internet lounges.
Regent Seven Seas Cruises Common Areas:
The spacious, open design gives these mid-sized ships a large ship "feel". The common areas are contemporary and very simple, adding to the quiet, relaxing, onboard atmosphere.
Regent Seven Seas Cruises Spa, Gym, and Fitness:
Carita of Paris operates the European-style spas on the RSSC ships. The ships have sauna and steam rooms, fitness classes, and exercise equipment in the gym. The pool is outdoors and has a Jacuzzi hot tub and bar nearby.
