Hi, I'm Kathryn O¡¯Donnell, horticulturist and entrepreneur. Today, we're going to talk about propagating pothos plants. Pothos is such a great easy care plant, and it is just as easy to propagate. We have a jade pothos here, and the beauty of pothos is, they grow roots right in the air. So all we have to do is snip it off, take nice, moist, pre-watered soil, stick it in without damaging that root. Take more cuttings, every two innernodes, that's two sections of the leaves. Put another pre-made hole with your finger, put that in the soil, and continue to snip the tips. As you snip them, you'll find you can get eight or ten cuts off one little plant. You want to do several cuts in the pot, because that will make a full beautiful plant when you're done. Your original plant will easily grow more sprouts in no time. So this jade pothos will grow beautifully, it will root in a matter of a few weeks, and give you another whole beautiful pathos plant.
