- 1). Insert the Vista DVD into your laptop. Restart the laptop.
- 2). Press any key when prompted to boot from DVD.
- 3). Select your keyboard type, currency, and language from the onscreen menus.
- 4). Click "Repair your computer." Select the drive where Vista is installed and press "Next" to run the repair utility.
