Day 01 Arrival in Delhi
Arrival at Delhi, pick up at the airport and check in at the hotel. Proceed for half day sightseeing at Delhi. Visit India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan, Gandhi Smriti, Lotus Temple and Qutub Minar, the tallest tower in Delhi. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Delhi to Agra
After an early breakfast at about 8.00 A.M, leave for Agra. Reach Agra and check in at the Hotel. Proceed to visit the famous monument of love-Taj Mahal. This most famous Mughal monument was constructed by Emperor Shahjahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. It has been described as the most extravagant monument ever built for love. Taj Mahal is not open to visitors on Fridays. After Taj Mahal, visit the Agra Fort which lies on the bend of the river Yamuna, almost in the heart of town. It was built by Emperor Akbar as his citadel over the years 1563-73 in the finest architectural style. It has imposing gates and walls of red sandstone and a moat. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 03: Agra to Jaipur
At 8.00 A.M drive from Agra to Jaipur, the distance of 238 kms takes about 4 hours. Visit Fatehpur Sikri en route to Jaipur. Fatehpur Sikri is the deserted red sandstone city that was built by Emperor Akbar as his capital and palace in the 16th century. Upon arrival at Jaipur check in at the Hotel and rest for a while. Visit City Palace a museum with a superb collection of Rajasthani costumes and an armoury of the Mughals and the Rajputs. Then visit Jantar Mantar, a stone observatory, the largest of Jai Singh's five remarkable observatories. Also visit the landmark of the "Pink City" Hawa Mahal or the palace of winds, built to enable the ladies of the royal household to watch the processions passing in the street without being seen. Day 04: Jaipur-Delhi
This morning visit Lakshmi Narayan Temple built in Marble on Moti Doongri hilltop. Also visit Albert Hall Museum containing a rare collection of decorative art objects, paintings, sculptures and the well known Persian Golden Carpet. Visit the famous Amber Fort and Palace en route to Delhi. The fort is a striking example of Rajput architecture situated on a hill side and overlooking a lake, which reflects the fort's ramparts and terraces.
