- 1). Wipe your leather sofa with a cloth to remove some of the surface mold and mildew. It will likely flake off, so be sure to dispose of it in a sealable bag.
- 2). Add equal parts of rubbing alcohol and water to a container.
- 3). Pour the rubbing alcohol and water solution into a spray bottle.
- 4). Cover the mold and mildew-covered area with the cleaning solution. Wait a few minutes to let it work.
- 5). Use a lint-free cloth to scrub the mold and mildew on your leather sofa. As the cloth becomes soiled, replace it with a new one and keep scrubbing. You might also need to spray on more cleaning solution.
- 6). Let your leather sofa air dry. Putting on a fan in the room can help this process along.
