- 1). Run your Intex filter pump daily during times when people are not in the pool. Experiment with running the pump for different lengths of time to determine effectiveness. The appropriate run time varies with the pool size, how dirty the pool is and the usage level. Turn off the pump when the pump seems to consistently produce clean, clear water.
- 2). Push the shaft pieces of the Intex pool vacuum into each other.
- 3). Snap the hose mount onto the side of the shaft.
- 4). Position the skimmer net on the pool vacuum's bottom shaft.
- 5). Line up the spring on the net with the hole on the shaft so it pops into place.
- 6). Sweep the pool surface with a skimmer to remove debris such as leaves or insects.
- 7). Snap off the skimmer net from the shaft and put it aside.
- 8). Align the cleaning head spring with the spring on the bottom shaft and pop it into place.
- 9). Attach the debris collection bag to the cleaning head on the side opposite of the hose mount.
- 10
Tie the collection bag closed. - 11
Screw the hose into the hose connection on the cleaning head. - 12
Clip the hose into the hose mount. - 13
Tighten the garden hose onto your home's water spigot and turn it on. - 14
Sweep the bottom surface of the pool with the vacuum until all sediment is removed. Turn the water up or down to regulate the water pressure.
