- 1). Press the small button directly above the touchpad to lock the touchpad. Press the button again to unlock the touchpad. If this does not work, proceed to the next step as the touchpad driver will need to be updated to function correctly again.
- 2). Click "Start," and then click the "Control Panel" button.
- 3). Click "Mouse."
- 4). Click the "Hardware" tab.
- 5). Click "Properties."
- 6). Click "Driver" and then click "Update Driver ... " to search for the latest version of the HP G60 touchpad driver software. Click "Yes" when asked if you want to install the driver. Click "Finish" to complete the process of installing the driver. Restart your computer by clicking "Start," then "Shutdown" and then "Restart." Repeat Step 1 to lock the touchpad on the HP G60.
