- 1). Unplug the dishwasher. Remove the racks, then spread the clips that hold the manifold, which is the long tube that runs inside the dishwasher along the back and top.
- 2). Pull the top of the manifold forward while pushing the bottom back until it snaps out. Remove it from the dishwasher.
- 3). Loosen the wash arm hub and pivot, then remove the spray arm. Remove the three Torx screws from the filter guard, then remove the guard.
- 4). Pick up the wash motor assembly from the bottom of the dishwasher and disconnect the wiring harness from the motor. Remove the assembly from the dishwasher.
- 5). Remove the six Torx screws around the discharge housing to remove it, then locate the access hole on the bottom of the motor and hold a screwdriver in there to stop the motor from rotating while you remove the Torx screw that holds the wash impeller. Remove the impeller.
