- 1). Place a mud flap on the backside of a fender well and line the edge of the mud flap up with the inside edge of that fender well. Mark each mounting hole on the inside edge of the fender well -- often called the "rolled lip" with a black marker. Place the mud flap off to the side.
- 2). Drill a pilot hole though each black mark you placed on the "rolled lip" of the fender well with a hand drill and drill bit. Use a drill bit approximately half the diameter of the screws supplied with the mud flap.
- 3). Place the mud flap against the fender well and line up the holes in the mud flap with the holes in the rolled lip.
- 4). Secure the mud flap to the fender well with the supplied screws and screwdriver.
- 5). Repeat Steps 1 through 4 on each corner of the Honda Accord.
