Increase Blog Traffic - 3 Blog Posts Do"s and Don"ts to Attract Readers

There are plenty of things you can do to make your blog posts traffic magnets.
And there are missteps you can take which will neuter your blog posts.
Below are a few Do's and Don'ts you can use to help our blog posts stand out and attract some serious traffic.
Do keyword research - It really all starts with keyword research.
You must find out what people in your niche are typing into Google to find sites.
Figure out the phrases they are typing into the search engines, and the rest falls into place.
Do create a attention grabbing headline - Readers will scan your headline and make a snap judgment.
They will decided if it is worth their time to read your post.
Your headline needs to convince them it's a smart investment of their time to read your post.
Do provide good content - Some bloggers might think this is pretty obvious, but it needs to be said.
It's vital to provide good content if you expect readers to return to your blog.
Actually you need to have good content if you even expect them to finish reading first post they find on your blog.
Don't forget tags - Tags are the words people use to search for posts to read.
Think of them like keywords because really that's what they are.
The cool part about a WordPress blog is it has a section within each post to add Tags.
Don't forget to check spelling and grammar - You need to make sure your posts have been checked for spelling and grammar.
Most word processors will have the tools to do the job.
It will make your posts flow better, and also easier for people to read.
Now, I'm not talking about red marker in hand...
High School English teacher type editing.
Far be it for me to lecture on proper grammar.
(I'd bet 'ol Bill Shrunk flip out if he got a hold of this article) No, I'm talking about simple spelling and grammar checks.
Don't sit on your hands planning, studying and researching - Stop! Quit researching, studying and write the blog post.
Just start typing and then hit the publish button.
Don't worry about how it will look, or if you've targeted the right keywords.
Get some posts under your belt, and you will improve over time.
Remember, experience is the best teacher.
