- 1). Type "http://www.familylobby.com/create-day-tickers.asp" into your web browser, without the quotation marks.
- 2). Enter the date of the event you want to countdown in the "Date of Occasion" field, then enter the name of the event in the "Days until what?" field.
- 3). Click the drop-down menu in the "Text font" field. Select the font size by clicking on the arrow next to "Font size."
- 4). Click one of the radio buttons above the colored boxes to choose the countdown's font color. Click the drop-down menu next to "Background" to choose a background design.
- 5). Click "Create Ticker." The HTML code for the ticker will appear. Select and copy this text and paste it into your website or blog. You have now made your own countdown ticker.
