• Jewelry is a thoughtful gift, as it can be worn and kept close at all times. Purchase a necklace or bracelet and have it engraved with a nursing-related quote or saying. Also include the nurse's name on the front or back of the piece. Alternatively, charm bracelets can be purchased. • With the long hours that nurses work, they often use mugs and thermoses for storing hot food and beverages. Purchase a mug or thermos with the words nurse on it, or purchase a blank one and attach a suitable waterproof decal to it.
