Spiritually speaking, we are being torched.
The fires of hell are being driven by lies and threats of assassinations.
Multi-level terrorist groups have taken over a large part of our social order through their lies and deception.
They are lapping up godly people all over the world.
They are terrorizing law-abiding citizens all over the world.
Whole nations are being "burned down" to the ground.
All organizations that are honoring the Lord Jesus Christ in our world are systematically being marginalized.
Our moral and spiritual roots are being turned to ashes.
People are being destroyed for lack of knowledge.
Families are melting down.
Hopes are being dashed to pieces.
God-respecting churches are under attack.
Our financial institutions are going up in smoke.
What used to be a "garden of Eden" is now a "desert wasteland.
" No one who resists this movement of unbridled evil is safe.
To say we are living in perilous times is an understatement.
This sounds like the end of the world, doesn't it? When we read the newspaper and read our Bible concerning the last days, they say the same thing.
We could very well be living in the very last days before Jesus' return.
What is the solution to this sad state of affairs? What we do is hold in their and trust our God more than ever.
I trust the list which follows will be helpful.
1.
Make sure you are seeing the true picture.
This is no time to be paranoid.
This will take some research.
2.
Do not yield to the pressure to quit witnessing for Jesus.
The only hope people have is a loving, personal relationship with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
3.
Pray for your brothers and sisters in the Lord who are facing persecution for their witness for Jesus.
4.
Know what you believe and why.
Buy the truth and refuse to sell it to the highest bidder.
5.
Be active in doing good for as many people as you can.
The way to win is with kindness.
6.
Form Power of 7 Bible study groups.
Become a Christian apologist.
7.
Join a good Christ-centered, Bible-believing fellowship of Christians.
Home groups are in several places.
If there is no such group in your area, start one.
8.
Do not let the great falling away discourage you.
Pray for those who have fallen away.
9.
Do not fear the enemy who is attempting to destroy your faith in your fellow Christians and your Lord.
10.
Do what God directs you to do regardless of the consequences to your personal interests.
11.
Fight the battle with spiritual weapons, not physical force.
12.
Trust God to protect you and your family.
Be assured! God is still on His throne.
He will take care of His own.
He will take care of you and yours.
