- 1). Apply the parking brake, then lift the passenger's side of the vehicle with a floor jack and support the passenger's side of the car with a safety stand.
- 2). Loosen the alternator's securing bolts with a wrench to relieve the tension on the alternator's belt.
- 3). Loosen the power steering pump's securing bolts with a wrench to relieve the tension on the power steering belt.
- 4). Remove the passenger-side front wheel with a lug nut wrench.
- 5). Remove the four fasteners that hold the passenger's side inner fender splash shield with a standard screwdriver, then pull the splash shield out of the wheel well to access the crankshaft pulley.
- 6). Pull the alternator and power steering pump belts off the crankshaft pulley.
- 7). Remove the four bolts that secure the pulley to the crankshaft with a wrench, then pull the pulley off the engine.
