- 1). Open an Internet browser and navigate to the Media-Convert tool (see Resources).
- 2). Click the "Browse" button in the Input File section and navigate to the WMV file on the computer.
- 3). Click the WMV and click "OK" to load the video as the input file into the conversion tool.
- 4). Click the "Input Type" drop-down box and select the "Windows Media Video (*.wmv)" option from the drop-down list.
- 5). Select "No Video Presets" from the first "Output Format" drop-down box.
- 6). Select the AVI or 3GP file type from the second drop-down box in the "Output Format" section.
- 7). Click the blue "OK" button. The WMV file will be converted on the fly, and saved as the selected video file type in the same directory as the original WMV file.
- 8). Connect the phone to the PC using the USB connector cable or a Bluetooth connection and transfer the converted video to the phone. Consult the phone's manual for instructions regarding how to connect the cellular device to the computer and transfer files.
