- 1). Connect the RS-232 cable to the rear of the GPS III. See Resources for a compatible RS-232 cable.
- 2). Plug the other 9-pin end into your PC's D-connector port.
- 3). Power on the GPS III.
- 4). Push "Menu" two times. A new menu appears.
- 5). Open "Setup."
- 6). Go to the "Interface" tab.
- 7). Choose "RS232."
