How to Uninstall Microsoft OneCare

1). Open the "Start" menu and click on "Control Panel." Choose "Uninstall a Program" from the Control Panel menu.
2). Choose "Windows Live OneCare" from the list of programs and click "Uninstall" at the top of the window. Confirm that you want to uninstall the program when prompted to do so. The computer will automatically remove the files.
3). Download the Windows Live OneCare cleanup utility if your computer is unable to remove the program on its own (see Resources).
4). Open the Windows Live OneCare file once the download finishes. Follow the onscreen directions to complete the removal process.
