- 1). Click "Start" and "Default Programs." Select "Associate a file type or protocol with a program."
- 2). Click the ".ics" and ".vcs" file extensions that Microsoft Works Calendar uses. Click "Change Program" for each, and choose "Microsoft Works" as the default program.
- 3). Click "OK" to make Microsoft Works the default calendar application that opens calendar files.
