Make Guests Feel At Home With The Perfect Welcome Gift Bag

Be it for a destination wedding or for out of town wedding guests, welcome totes are a one big bag full of TLC. The couple may have different intentions for it; it could be for comfort, for convenience and even for simple remembrance. Overall, welcome bags have evolved nowadays into an all-in-one must-have kits for guests to maximize the experience while they are miles away from home.

Apparently, it is not only meant for beach weddings to have welcome gift bags for guests. These treats can still be given for weddings in cities, valleys and everywhere that would require guests to actually spend a night or two in another place. The welcome bags are a sign of hospitality and gratitude at the same. It is the least that the couple could do after the guests traveled for their day, right?

What should be inside the welcome bags? Here are the must-haves and a few little treats that could make the welcome bag more indispensable.

Welcome note. Nothing beats heart-felt words of welcome from the couple themselves. Bring a smile to their faces right after hours of travel. Have the note handwritten if its still manageable, otherwise get it printed and then hand sign each one.

Pamper-licious items. The hotels could only give out towels, flowers and water bottles. Load up the welcome bag with personal survival items which suit the location. Lip gloss, sun block, flip flops and a hat would be ideal for a beach event.

Schedule of activities and a map. Foresee the events that will occur before, during the day and after the wedding. Cite specific times and additional costs of activities like museum visits and city tours. Keep the map as realistic as possible and mark all spots which are of importance.

Contact information. Leave this one attached to the map if possible. List in numbers of the wedding planner, the hotel front desk, the local taxi company and even of the bride and groom. Itd be handy for queries guests might have or when they lose their way while sightseeing.

Toys and games for the little guests. Kids are not different from adults, they do have needs and those needs should be met. Throw in travel game sets, action figures or even something as simple as a glider plane. The little ones will be thrilled with the surprise and the parents will be even more excited see the kids having fun.

Munchies and snacks. Get to showcase the local products and delicacies. Guests would love having a taste of what the city has to offer but then theyve got so little time to wander and explore. Homemade jam by a local cafe, flavored tea packet, popcorn, chocolate or even the finest brewed beer in town.

Knick-knacks, charms, souvenirs. Top it all off with a tiny but useful remembrance of the folks fantastic wedding weekend out of town. Be it in a form of key chain, pin, pen or bottle opener, itll be one item thats treasured by the guests for a lifetime.

Give the wedding guests the utmost level of pampering they deserve upon arriving. Have the gift bags ready right at their hotel rooms or hand them out personally for a sincere welcome.
