The PowerBilt Air Force One - Air Foil 2 drivers come in two models: A Tour model for players who like to work the ball; and a high-MOI model that helps reduce sidespin. The Tour model has an MAP of $299 and the high-MOI model an MAP of $249.
Both models incorporate the company's "Nitrogen Injected Techology": A thinner clubface is supported without any internal bracing through the injection of pressurized nitrogen.
In the Air Foil 2 drivers, the injection nozzle has been moved to the sole of the driver, which PowerBilt says helps lower the club's center of gravity.
Previous Air Force One/Air Foil drivers were split between models with clubface thicknesses of 2.8mm and 2.6mm; the Air Force 2 drivers both have 2.6mm face thicknesses. Other changes include a reduction in the psi of the nitrogen to allow more flex across the clubface; a clubhead shape optimized for aerodynamics; and a more open appearance at address.
In addition to the drivers, PowerBilt is also debuting Air Foil 2 fairway woods (15- and 19-degree lofts) and Air Foil 2 hybrids (lofts of 20, 23, 26 and 29 degrees). The fairway woods have an MAP of $149, the hybrids $119. powerbilt.com
