Hints for Games for the Game Boy Color

Nintendo released the Game Boy Color, a small video gaming system that can fit in a pocket, in 1998. The Game Boy Color is the same size as the original Game Boy system, and it features many of the same technical specifications. Unlike the original Game Boy, the Color version allows players to see their video games in full color while retaining its portability. Players can take advantage of hints to improve their performance in many Game Boy Color titles.

"Super Mario Bros. Deluxe"

Players can use hints to unlock special medals in "Super Mario Bros. Deluxe" for the Game Boy Color. To unlock the Peach Medal, players must complete every level of Challenge Mode while finding the red coins and eggs hidden in each stage. The Red Coin Medal is unlocked by players who find every red coin in every Challenge Mode stage. Players get the Toad Medal once they maximize the height of the score meter in Challenge Mode. The Yoshi Egg Medal is awarded to players who find the hidden egg in every Challenge Mode level. To get the Yoshi Medal, players must find and beat Level 8-4.

"Game and Watch Gallery 3" contains several different video games from Nintendo history. Players are able to unlock games that are not initially present by acquiring stars. To unlock "Flagman," players must find 10 stars. Players who locate 25 stars unlock "Pinball," while players who find 30 stars unlock "Lion." To get "Spitball Sparky," players must accumulate 40 stars. Once 45 stars are found, players get "Donkey Kong Circus." To get "Donkey Kong II," players must get to 50 stars. Players who reach 55 stars unlock "Super Mario Brothers," and players who get to 65 stars get "Climber."

"Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories" is a video game based on a popular card game in which players attack and defend using particular cards. Many of the cards featured in "Dark Duel Stories" are not available at the start of the game and must be unlocked by entering codes. To unlock the Leopard Girl card, players must enter "49000779". Players who enter "38116136" unlock the Machine Attacker card. To get the Monster Eye card, players must enter "84133008". The Parrot Dragon card is unlocked by entering "62762898". Players get the Silver Bow and Arrow card once they enter "01557499".
