- 1). Open your text or picture in Photoshop.
- 2). Open the "Image" menu. Select "Mode" from the "Image" menu and choose "Grayscale" from the "Mode" sub-menu.
- 3). Open the "Filter" menu. Select "Blur" from the "Filter" menu and choose "Box Blur" from the "Blur" sub menu. Raise the blur up to 20 and click "OK."
- 4). Open the "Image" menu and select "Adjustments." Then choose "Brightness/Contrast" from the "Adjustments" sub-menu. Lower the brightness and raise the contrast until you have a very dense blob with reasonably big, blurry edges. Click "OK."
- 5). Open the "Image" menu. Select "Mode" and choose "Bitmap from the "Mode" sub-menu. This will open the conversion window.
- 6). Select "Halftone Screen" in the conversion window, and click "OK."
- 7). Use a low number in the "Frequency" box. The lower the number in this box, the larger the halftone dots will be. Make sure to change the shape of the dots to "Round" before clicking "OK."
