- 1). Pour boiling water over the calendula flowers. Cover the mixture and leave to cool.
- 2). Strain the infusion to remove the calendula leaves. Refrigerate.
- 3). Melt the beeswax in a saucepan. Beat in the calendula oil and sweet almond oil using a wooden spoon of whisk.
- 4). Gradually add the lemon juice and two tablespoons of the calendula infusion made in steps one and two, stirring continuously.
- 5). Remove the saucepan from the heat and continue stirring until the mixture has cooled to almost body temperature.
- 6). Stir in the frankincense and lemon essential oils.
- 7). Pour the mixture into sterilized clear jars and shake until completely cool to prevent the ingredients from separating.
- 8). Store in a dry, dark place to preserve the essential oils.
- 9). Massage the cream gently onto clean skin on the face and neck nightly, before bed.
