- 1). Connect the ends of one composite cable to the video and audio output jacks on the back of the DISH Network receiver, matching the yellow, red and white plugs to the jack colors. Plug in the other ends of the cable to the AV input or Record jacks on the back of the VCR.
- 2). Hook up a second set of cables from the AV output or Playback jacks on the VCR to the Video 1 inputs labeled on the back of the TV, again matching plugs to jack colors.
- 3). Connect the third set of cables from the three jacks on the back of the DVD player to the Video 2 inputs on the TV.
- 4). Plug in and turn on the equipment. press the "Input" button on the TV remote control to switch between the Dish Network Receiver or playback of videotapes on the VCR, and the DVD player. Many TV sets display the input selection on the screen, so looking for Video 1 or Video 2 to appear on the TV.
