- 1). Click "Start" and right-click the "Computer" icon. Choose "Manage" from the list of options provided.
- 2). Choose the "Disk Management" option from the left sidebar. Your hard drives and RAID drives appear in this menu, with information about partitions, the health of the drives and many configuration options.
- 3). Right-click the RAID drive you need to recover. Choose "Repair Volume" to start the data reconstruction process. Many RAID adapters come with their own software that may have specific recovery options. You can consult your RAID adapter's manufacturer or watch for a key combination to press while booting up. You would press that key combination to access the RAID configuration data. Repair and recovery options are clearly marked.
