Prebiotics Provide A Natural Symphony For Good Digestive Health

Our ancestors probably did not suffer with the multitude of digestion problems as many people do today.
I have been fortunate during my life that I have not suffered from heart burn, acid reflux, gas, overweight, constipation, irritable bowel syndrome and the other problems so many people suffer from today.
However, I have felt the effects after dining with friends, or after a holiday meal of eating too much of too rich food.
The next day I feel sluggish, uncomfortable, and bloated, making me very much aware that I have over indulged.
People who indulge in this behavior constantly on a daily basis must really suffer.
What causes all the above digestion problems and how can they be overcome? There are particular foods that can provide some prebiotics, such as soybeans, Jerusalem artichoke, jicama, raw oats and unrefined wheat.
The foods themselves are not prebiotics, but they provide the fermentation that these foods cause which stimulates fermentation and increases the absorption of nutrients in our bodies.
You really cannot obtain the necessary amounts of prebiotics with these foods.
These prebiotics can also be provided by natural prebiotic supplements.
Then there is no guessing whether you are eating the proper foods and/or the proper amounts of that food to cause the necessary actions for good digestion.
Everything we ingest that goes through our system must be used for its proper purpose or be disposed of.
The digestive system does a magnificent job of sorting out everything we shove in our mouths to its proper place in our bodies or be eliminated as waste.
If we are taking care of our bodies, eating a healthy balanced diet, exercising, getting the proper amount of sleep there should be no problem, right? But, really who does that 100% of the time? We live in a busy frantic world.
Fast food is available at every corner 24 - 7.
Much of our food is loaded with too much salt, fat, sugar and too many preservatives.
We eat what we like and what we like has loads of fat, sugar, and preservatives.
Our fresh foods have been grown with chemicals and fertilizers and the nutrients that are needed have long ago been stripped from the soil.
There are also harmful bacteria everywhere just waiting to cause problems.
The conditions and diseases associated with digestion are numerous: irritable bowel syndrome, enlarged pancreas, enlarged liver; there are just too many to list here.
In order to overcome all the obstacles to good digestion and good health, we need to replace the lost enzymes with natural digestive supplements including prebiotics.
Of course, there are other over-the-counter and prescription products highly advertised for the digestive problems mentioned above; but the side effects are too dire to take chances by using them.
And they may only address the symptoms and not the basic problem.
Wouldn't it be better to solve this by taking a natural supplement instead of reaching for three different ones: a soluble fiber product, an enzyme supplement product, and a prebiotic supplement? Always the same amount with no guess work as to whether you have taken too much or too little.
A natural supplement containing prebiotics, digestive enzymes and fiber ingested over time will begin to soothe the disrupted digestive systems we have created with all our bad habits.
They can restore our good health if only we will let them.
Our entire health depends upon what happens in our digestive tract.
It is the master mechanism for every organ and system in our bodies.
Our bodies were meant to function at optimum levels and, in fact, crave habits that maintain good health.
In general, people have little understanding of how very important it is to have the proper mix and number of prebiotics, soluble fiber and enzymes in our systems.
The best way is to simply get them in one natural supplement.
Do a bit of research, and do yourself a favor by adding these amazing natural prebiotic supplements to your regimes and start on the path of the best health imaginable.
Always consult with your primary health care providers before adding any supplement to your system to be sure it will not interact unfavorably with something you are already using.
But, most of all take care of your bodies, especially your digestive systems so that you can live the active life you want rather than being ill and unable to do anything for yourselves.
No one wants to be a helpless invalid confined to a nursing home watching the world go by unable to participate in all the activities that make up the joy of living.
