Grab the Finest Fuel Credit Cards for You

Are you one of those people who simply want to save money but haven’t got the guts to do it? Are you worried that if you spend less, you’ll be depriving your other needs such as gas costs for your car? If you want to spend wisely on gas, then get yourself a fuel credit card that is just right within your budget.

However, before you get yourself one, ask yourself, what is a fuel card? Well, a fuel card works just like any other regular credit card, and the usage is not limited to groceries, fine and dine restaurants, and travel needs. You can use fuel cards to purchase… well, fuel for your gas!

This fuel credit card is not bought; it must be obtained from a credit card company within your area. If you want to apply for one, visit the nearest credit card company with your requirements: your personal information and other documents such as your electricity bill, driver’s license, house ownership, etc. After they have checked up your requirements, you are asked to fill up their application. Look into the company’s terms and conditions if it’s agreeable. Also, ask for the card’s advantage such as APR rate, rebates, rewards and points, and member benefits.

If you are still unsure on which card to apply, you may try these cards that suit you best:

One is the BP Visa Card. With this card, you earn rebates not only on gas purchases, but on other items as well. You earn 5% rebates on all BP location purchases, 2% rebates on travel and dining purchases, and 1% on other eligible items. What’s more, you can use this card in any Visa locations. And what makes this card different is that it doubles all your rebates for the first two months.

Meanwhile, if you want to choose a card that is only for gas and maintenance purchases alone, then apply for a BP Business Solutions Fuel Card Plus, an enhanced version of the original BP Business Card Fuel Card. This card is designed to control a driver’s spending while having easy access to quality fuel at any BP locations nationwide.

Aside from the limited spending, there are also rebates included, together with a comprehensive report and security control. Such security controls are PIN codes, online access to driver account information, and deactivation of cards by fleet managers if the card is stolen or lost. And once you use this card, you can save up to 10 cents per gallon on all fuel purchases for the first three months.

Once you get your own fuel credit card, be sure to pay on time to avoid excess balance on your next billing period.
