We are what we eat, never a more turn statement written. If we're eating junk then we can more or less predict that we're going to look like junk. This article compiles a list of 7 great anti aging foods. While this is not the definitive list of foods for anti aging benefits it's a great start and will have you feeling great if you work them into your daily and weekly diets and meals.

#1 Berries with antioxidants – Most berries such as blue berries and black berries are high in antioxidants. These help protect the body from the potential damage that can be caused by Free Radicals. Mixing berries into your diet daily if possible but at least a couple of times a week will have positive anti aging benefits.

#2 Garlic – Garlic is preached as a great anti aging food to help prevent heart disease and lower cholesterol. Ideally if you can eat one clove of garlic a day either raw or cooked you'll reap the benefits of this.

#3 Nuts – Nuts are a fantastic source of vital oils and nutrients. With nuts it's important to add them into your diet but do so in moderation. Many nuts are high in fats but also lots of other things that are fantastic for our bodies so sprinkle them on foods such as salads, cereal and even sweets.

#4 Avocado – This is a very overlooked food. Avocado has so many precious benefits if it's added regularily into your diet including keeping wrinkles away from your face and improving the look and glow of your hair and skin. Working them into your diet can be strange if you're not used to eating them, adding them to salads or eating them raw are both easy methods to eating them.

#5 Green Veggies – Broccoli, spinach, and other greens are great. They fight off disease and toxins, keep your weight steady and are low in calories. You have got to eat a few servings of these everyday, they're just to beneficial not to.

#6 Ginger – This good is crucial for digestion it helps your stomach and bowels work well. It's a crucial part of our bodies processes and it's not fun if you're not getting along well in the digestive area.

#7 Water – So maybe water isn't a food but if you're not drinking at least 6 glasses of water each day you're not feeling as good as you could be. Also it's not just water but stay away from soda and alcohol as often as possible they are counter productive to the water we drink. Water is a must for flushing toxins, keeping our skin glowing and fending off de-hydration head aches.

So these 7 foods can improve how you feel and look. They have varied benefits and offer a well rounded approach to anti aging health.
