- 1). Insert the microSD memory card into the microSD memory card slot located on the side of the Centro cell phone. Push the card within the slot until it clicks into place.
- 2). Click "Menu" on the Centro. Click "Media Center." Click "Music & Tones." Click "My Music."
- 3). Scroll to the music of which you wish to make a ringtone. Click "Options." Click "Move to Card Memory." The song is moved to your microSD memory card memory.
- 4). Remove the microSD memory card from the Centro. Push in on the card to cause it to eject from the cell phone. Insert the microSD memory card within the microSD memory card USB adapter. Plug the USB adapter into your computer's USB port.
- 5). Open your audio editing software. Click "Open" and browse to the music file located on your microSD memory card to open it within the audio editing software.
- 6). Set the beginning and ending markers for the section of the song you wish to use as your ringtone. Simply click on the beginning and ending sections on the image of the clip to set them. Cut away the excess sections around the clip using the "Cut" tool provided within the software.
- 7). Save the file on the microSD memory card in the "Sounds" folder. Remove the USB adapter from the USB port. Remove the microSD memory card from the USB adapter. Insert the card back within the Centro.
- 8). Click "Menu" on your Centro. Click "Settings & Tools." Click "Memory." Click "Card Memory."
- 9). Scroll to the ringtone file you just created. Click "Options." Click "Move to Phone Memory." The ringtone is moved to the "Sounds" folder of your Centro, where you can set it as a ringtone.
