Serious gardeners need to adopt effective pest control methods in order to maintain a healthy garden.
Many commercial synthetic pesticide products are available in the market.
However, considering the serious environmental threats and the importance of adopting environmental-friendly methods, more and more people are shifting to organic pesticides.
In addition, we can prevent the harmful chemicals of the synthetic fertilizers from entering out body.
Commercially available organic fertilizers are generally expensive.
Some of them are not very effective if they are old stock.
Hence, you can prepare fresh organic pesticides at home and keep the unwanted pests at bay.
They are easy to prepare and are inexpensive.
The ingredients of these pesticides are commonly available in any household.
• Garlic is an effective and popular natural pesticide to protect your plants from a wide range of pests.
You can get rid of aphids in roses by planting garlic in between the shrubs.
Garlic is also effective in protecting tomato plants from attack of red mites.
In addition, you can plant garlic around your fruit trees and prevent borers attack.
• Crush tomato leaves in 4 to 5 pints of water and mix 1 tablespoon of corn starch.
Strain it and spray it in your garden to keep away pests.
• Chop half cup of hot pepper and mix it with water.
Leave it overnight, strain the liquid, and then mix it with 2 tablespoons of soap without bleaching agent.
Spray it on plants to keep away bugs.
• Mix 2 tablespoons of baking soda along with 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil, 1 teaspoon of soap without bleach and add it to two quarts of water and spray this effective pesticide in your garden.
