- 1). Double click the hard-drive icon on the desktop, then click the "Applications" folder.
- 2). Scroll down the list of applications and click on the "Font Book" icon. The Font Book utility will open.
- 3). Click "All Fonts," which is in the "Collection" pane on the far left side of the window. The complete list of fonts will be displayed in the "Font" pane.
- 4). Click on the name of the font you want to use in the font list to select it. Click "Validate Font" from the file menu. The Font Validation window will open and the system will check the font to make sure it is not corrupted.
- 5). Click "New Collection" from the "File" menu, then type a name for the new project you are working on in the open text box in the Collection pane. Select the font you want to use in the project and drag it to the new collection. The font is now ready for use with your new project.
