Credit Repair Secrets - Setting Goals the Right Way

Now that you've gotten your mind right and you know where you stand, it's time to develop some goals that you like to achieve with respect to credit repair.
Before doing so, let's define what goals are not.
I want to be rich is not a goal, it's a wish.
I want to buy a Lamborghini next year, is not a goal, it's a wish.
Goals should be specific, measurable, and attainable.
Goals should always describe EXACTLY what you want or expect the end result to be and you should always specify an exact date that you want to achieve the goal.
In the case of credit repair, you want to describe what the end result looks, smells, and feels like.
Referring to a previous article, what does your car buying experience feel like when you have good credit? What about purchasing a home? A good way to remember is to use the popular mnemonic, SMART.
oS Specific oM Measurable oA Attainable oR Relevant oT Time-bound Lastly, I want to reiterate the importance of being specific.
Poorly defined goals are not actionable.
You cannot work towards something that isn't clearly defined.
Now that I've said the same thing 3 different ways, I hope I get the sense of how important this step is.
Here's a technique I use when I struggle with setting a goal.
I write down my greatest fear with respect to the topic and let that motivate me to write down a specific, measurable, and attainable goal.
Until next time, remember to always have an Attitude of Gratitude and Positive Expectation.
