- 1). Fold the length of lanyard cord in half so both sides have equal lengths.
- 2). Wrap a plastic twist-tie around the middle of the lanyard where you folded it. The twist-tie should be exactly halfway between each end of the cord.
- 3). Hold the ends of the lanyard cord, with the twist-tie right in the middle of the lanyard.
- 4). Tie the strands of lanyard together and make a know about 2 to 3 inches down the lanyard cord. You now have a loop for your lanyard and can start braiding the lanyard strands.
