- 1). Open iTunes, and then go to the "file" menu at the top navigational bar. Then click on the "Add File to Library" option. A new window will open.
- 2). Browse for your movie file. A good place to start is the "My Computer" section, which will allow you to access your internal hard drive, and any external hard or flash drives that may have content on them.
- 3). Click on the file that you want to put into iTunes and then click "OK." If you want to import more than one file, simply click on the multiple filenames before you click "OK."
- 4). Wait for your files to appear in iTunes. This process may take a few moments, but the files will begin appearing in their respective content areas. They will not be incorporated in your iTunes library, or be converted to an iPod-friendly format.
