- 1). Double-click the "Adobe Illustrator" icon to open the program.
- 2). Click "File" and "Open" and select the Illustrator document file that includes the object with rounded corners for which you want to change the weight.
- 3). Click on "Select" (the black arrow) tool in the toolbox.
- 4). Click the border with rounded corners on your document page.
- 5). Click the "Window" menu and choose "Show strokes" from the drop-down menu.
- 6). Type a number in the "Weight" field. To increase weight, type a number larger than the current number displayed. To decrease weight, type a number smaller than the current number displayed.
- 7). Press "Ctrl" and "S" to save the document.
