- 1). Choose a black skirt for a Gothic woman's outfit, either of leather or velvet. A lacy velvet red or black bustier is a good choice to go with the skirt. A long black coat or cape is an appropriate part of any Gothic costume.
- 2). Add accessories, such as fishnet stockings with holes in them, lace gloves, leather collar, and bone or religious jewelry. For shoe wear, choose high black leather boots.
- 3). Use makeup to give your skin an unrealistically pale appearance. At the same time, you want to add dark shadows around the eyes and long black eyelashes. The hair should be dark and either brush straight back or ratty looking.
