You want to work at home, but you don't know where to start.
You spend countless hours scouring the internet for ideas on what to do to make money at from home, but still come up empty handed.
You get caught up with the "Social Media", "SEO", and "Affiliate Marketing" information overload.
I'm not saying it's not useful, but when you don't know where to start with your "make money from home" idea, why get caught up with all the other stuff you won't need until later.
If you're married, your spouse is probably giving you the when are going to make some money look right about now.
They are not the most forgiving when it comes to making money.
The bill collectors want it now, and your spouse wants to see results NOW! They want to know you were serious when you said "I think I'll start working from home and helping with the bills".
You gave them a HOPE and DREAM that they wouldn't have to work so hard to support the whole family on their salary.
Now you better produce results.
Most who dream of starting their own "Work At Home" business, never take into account all the things involved with running their own business.
When you are your own boss, you have things like inventory, overhead (rent and utilities), employees, and marketing expenses you didn't count on when you first got the idea.
Here are some reasons why "Work at Home" businesses fail: 1.
Lack of Planning.
You need an all inclusive plan that maps out how to make your business legal, how to market your business, how to take care of your clients and how you are going to make money.
2.
Lack of Funding.
You need to know that you can afford your plan.
Some businesses cost thousands of dollars to get started and others can be started on a "shoe string" budget but don't think it doesn't cost anything to get started.
There is always a cost, whether it's time, effort or money.
3.
Lack of Knowledge.
How are you going to start a business without the proper knowledge? If you know about a particular subject, you still need to learn how to make that subject come alive for other people and make them think they absolutely have to have that one thing that will make their lives better today, right now, instantly.
4.
Lack of Support.
You have heard the phrase "Rome wasn't built in a day".
Some people get caught up with the hype that they can have their business built and making money in one day.
Without the proper support, that is not possible.
You either need to know it all, or find someone who can help you with all the tasks involved in running your own business.
You cannot answer your phones, type your letters, write your sales copy, market for clients, and do deals or sell products all at the same time.
If you did, you would go crazy trying to keep up and your family would never see you.
Didn't you come up with the idea of working at home so you can spend more time with your family? Well, I can relate to all those points mentioned above.
I've been searching for the perfect "work at home" solution to help my husband support our family without me having to go back to work in the corporate setting.
So, I came up with my own criteria on setting up my business from home.
I had to be able to: 1.
Work my own hours/schedule because my husband sleeps during the day and works at night and my own children had a "school district" schedule that I had to accommodate.
2.
Have minimum start up costs.
I needed to stay within a budget of below what it would cost to take a semester of classes at a junior college.
I needed to make money, not spend more than our family could afford.
3.
Follow a step by step plan to make sure my business was legal and operating within my State's perimeters for "Start Up Businesses".
I wanted to have all the forms and legal questions answered before I committed to the business.
4.
Have a viable product that people would pay for while still being competitive.
5.
Have my marketing program working 24/7 for me.
I found an "at home" business that has considerably helped my family and our financial situation and I want to share it with everyone I see that needs an opportunity to grow and become the person they really want to be and also, be one step closer to being financially free.
I couldn't be happier with my decision.
My family is happy.
My clients are happy.
And, my business is booming.
