I have heard it many times, you need to create multiple streams of income to compliment your regular job and if you are dedicated enough, these alternative streams of income could lead to a profitable work at home business for you.
I will present you three income streams, streams anyone can do in their spare time.
There is no dollar investment, so they can be started for free.
You are familiar with each one, you have heard of each one, but are you doing each one? Here we go, the top 3, from me: 1.
eBay.
The greatest marketplace on the internet! Easy and free to sign up for and you are in business in 5 minutes.
Look around your house, haven't used it in the last 6 months, and it's smaller than a breadbox (easier to ship) seriously consider selling it on eBay.
Research the completed listings for the going sales price, snap a great picture or two, write a simple and accurate description and list it.
Auction or Buy It now; your choice.
In this economy right now, adult, children and baby clothes are hot sellers.
Same goes for children's toys and games.
Electronics are always good sellers.
You can easily make $100 per month selling what you have in closets and in your garage.
This is also a great way to gain experience internet marketing.
2.
For the items you find in your home bigger than a breadbox, have a twice annual garage or estate sale.
Two fun weekends selling your "old treasures", meeting new people and making some decent money.
Old furniture, bikes, books, tools, just to name a few can generate $150 to $300 each weekend, twice a year.
3.
Sign up for a free Blog on Google.
Identify a niche you have knowledge in and that you enjoy.
Five times a week, write and publish a 150 word blog on the subject you know and love.
To monetize the blog, sign up for Google AdWords and place them on your blog (this is easy, Blogger will show you how in minutes).
Now go to ClickBank and sign up, find a product or two and place the advertising on your blog.
You can make from $10+ per month doing this; the longer you stay at it, the higher the monthly income.
So there you have it, 3 streams, no money required to start these home businesses and the possibility of an extra $1500+ per year in income for you and yours.
More importantly, you are learning to sell and market products, who knows what additional "stream" this may lead you to?
