- 1). Fill your medium pot with a few inches of water. Tear two long sheets of tin foil and place one sheet over the other on top of your pot.
- 2). Push the foil down into the pot so it forms a concave bowl. Crimp the extra tin foil around the rim of the pot to secure it and keep it from sliding into the pot.
- 3). Poke about 15 small holes into the tin foil bowl in your pot using your skewer or a sharpened pencil point. Make sure the holes are evenly spread out over the concave tin foil surface.
- 4). Put food into the tin foil bowl and put the medium-sized lid on. Your steamer is now ready for action.
