- 1). Saturate the ink spot with hairspray. Spray it directly on the ink stain.
- 2). Let the hairspray sit on the ink stain. Do not allow the hairspray to dry on the ink stain.
- 3). Blot the hairspray with a dry paper towel. The ink should come up more each time you blot the stain. Make sure to use a clean spot of the paper towel each time you blot the stain again.
- 4). Re-spray the ink spot with hairspray if the stain is still visible after you have blotted it dry. This time add a drop or two of liquid laundry detergent.
- 5). Rub the hairspray and detergent together holding the fabric between your fingers if possible. If you cannot hold the suede fabric between your fingers, carefully blend the two ingredients by rubbing them together on the stained spot.
- 6). Allow the hairspray and detergent to set into the stain, but do not allow them to dry. If you can, rinse the spot with lukewarm water. If are washing something larger like a couch, dab the spot with a paper towel dipped in lukewarm water. Keep doing this until the stain comes clean.
