- 1). Get out a packet of construction paper that has many different colors--the brighter and flashier the better. You want this fan to be as colorful as you can make it.
- 2). Cut the construction paper into strips. The strips should be 1 inch wide and as long as the construction paper page. You want between 15 to 20 strips of construction paper. These pieces should all be different colors or an assortment of the colors you have. Don't use only green or only orange.
- 3). Get one sheet of plain white construction paper. Use a ruler to cut it in to a fan shape. This fan shape will be pointy at the bottom and will have diagonal edges.
- 4). Glue the colorful strips one at a time to the fan shape. Each strip should overlap the strip next to it. Do this until you have placed as many strips as you can until you get from one edge to the other.
- 5). Cut out a turkey from one of your nature magazines. If you don't have a nature magazine you can use grocery store flyers as they usually have a picture of a turkey at Thanksgiving. Make sure the turkey picture is a medium to small one.
- 6). Glue the turkey in the middle bottom of the fan.
- 7). Wait for the glue to dry and use.
