- 1). Pour several drops of isopropyl alcohol directly onto the highlighter stain. Rub it in.
- 2). Rinse with hot water to remove the alcohol and the stain.
- 3). If you can still see the highlighter stain, rub concentrated laundry detergent into the stain. Let it sit for several minutes.
- 4). Rinse again with hot water, and check the stain.
- 5). If you still see the stain on your clothes, add diluted all-fabric bleach directly to the remaining highlighter stain.
- 6). Let the bleach soak in for several minutes, and then launder as usual.
