- 1). Cast on 12 stitches with your size 8 knitting needles. Knit the front and back of each stitch across for two rows. You now have 48 stitches on your needle.
- 2). Switch to size 10 needles. Knit one row. Switch to size 19 needles. Knit three rows.
- 3). Switch back to the size 10 needles. Knit two rows. Cast off. Weave in any loose ends.
- 4). Thread the strand of ribbon through the yarn needle. Thread the ribbon through the row knit with the size 19 needles. Pull the ribbon through so it is centered, and tie it into a bow.
