- 1). Pour 2 tbsp. of a vegetable-oil-based liquid soap into 1 gallon of water.
- 2). Shake or stir to combine the ingredients. Pour the desired amount into a spray bottle via a funnel or into a hand-held sprayer.
- 3). Spray both sides of the leaves of outdoor plants early in the morning, late in the afternoon or after sunset to avoid evaporation.
- 1). Heat 1 qt. of water in a pot on a stove top. Shave 1/4 of a bar of Fels-Naptha soap into the pot with a cheese grater.
- 2). Stir until dissolved. Cool and place in a labeled glass jar.
- 3). Pour 1 qt. of water into a hand-held sprayer or spray bottle. Add 1 tsp. of concentrate to the water and shake to mix.
- 4). Spray directly on insects to eliminate. Spray on plants in the early morning, late afternoon or evening to avoid rapid evaporation.
