In arrival at Luxor, your first stop in Luxor trip will be at the Valley of the Kings - burial place of pharaohs, hidden in the rocks, decorated with scences and funerary rituals of the period for afterlife of pharaohs. Valley of Kings in Luxor is famous for Tutankhamen tomb and its treasures, discovered in 1922 by Howard Carter. Next sightseeing of your Luxor trip will be Hatshepsut temple at El Deir Al Bahari, dedicated to the queen Hatshepsut - famous female pharaoh, the temple with three layered terraces connected by long ramps which were once surrounded by gardens.
